Damn, did you get an independently-conceived already-invention on dungeon styles? That's wack. I've had the same thing at many points in my life when I came up with ideas for things like standup comedy (I was very young) and multi-zigzagoon Pokemon teams (good for getting loot) only to find out later on that I had come up with an idea that somebody else had all along. It's actually quite impressive to end up in such a situation.

Also, in panel #5, Neasan's word "I" hugs the exclamation point too closely.

it's comforting to know that basically every human brain is eventually going to come up with the same ideas given the right circumstances. heck, we've been writing the same story arcs since the dawn of time.

Oh god, eventually going to... did you know that Minecraft can be viewed as a logical conclusion to what a human being would eventually invent? I think that Minecraft couldn't possibly never happen, so long as humanity survived and didn't ban videogames. So, one day, I got really disappointed when I was looking at one of my incomplete 2D creations and was like "this randomly generated map with its niche holes inspires me to make a - oh god damn it I was too late."

I suspect that if I was homeschooled, I would have beat Notch to the punch. Knowing me, the game probably wouldn't be sold to Microsoft out of sheer integrity and obsession. But enough about me, point being: you're right. It's comforting to know because I know I have a defense if I come up with something evidently-non-unique, among other reasons. Shame I had to go to public school though...

Did Neasan go to public school?

I just realized that this comic means that Neasan is being quite helpful, if telling the truth. Nice.
